SHOULD I REFRIGERATE MY CUPCAKES?

Any cupcakes with filling, fruit, or cream cheese frosting should be refrigerated. Other cupcakes can be stored at room temperature.

 

ARE YOUR VEGAN CUPCAKES HEALTHY?

No. None of our cupcakes are healthy. Some are dairy-free, most of our ingredients are organic, and we add no preservatives or artificial colors or flavors. But there’s sugar. Pure cane sugar, confectioners’ sugar, brown sugar… lots of sugar. And some have rum.

 

IS YOUR FACILITY NUT-FREE?

Yes, our facility is nut-free. Additionally, our all-purpose flour, chocolate bars, chocolate-covered pretzels, and Vanilla Extract all come from either nut-free companies or companies that produce these products in nut-free facilities. HOWEVER, we cannot make any guarantees that our other ingredients came from nut-free facilities, therefore cross-contamination may have occurred prior to arriving in our facility.

 

DO I HAVE TO PRE-ORDER? CAN'T I JUST STOP BY AND PICK UP CUPCAKES?

You can absolutely stop by! Our Brookline Village location is open 10 AM - 6 PM Tuesday - Saturday. Please note: we have a wider selection of options online, online cupcake orders are tax-free, and there is wholesale pricing for purchasing online.

 

ARE YOUR GLUTEN-FREE CUPCAKES SUITABLE FOR PEOPLE WITH CELIAC DISEASE?

No. While we make every attempt to avoid cross-contamination, our gluten-free cupcakes are made in the same facility as our regular cupcakes. We believe that only companies with a kitchen that is 100% gluten-free should ever make a claim that their food is safe for people with Celiac disease.

 

DO ANY OF YOUR CUPCAKES CONTAIN FLAXSEED? PEA PROTEIN? SOY?

None of our cupcakes contain flaxseed. Our vegan butter contains pea protein.

Regarding Soy: Our vegan butter, all cookies (i.e. Oreos and Chocolate Chip Cookies) and chocolate shavings (for our Classic Chocolate or Classic Vanilla with Chocolate Buttercream) contain soy.  For soy-free options: 1) avoid the vegan cupcakes; 2) avoid all cupcakes with cookies (Cookies & Cream, Cookie Monster, etc.); and 3) Leave a note in the notes section that there is a soy allergy and we will not put chocolate shavings on the two cupcake options that contain them.

 

CAN I CUSTOMIZE MY CUPCAKE DESIGNS?

Possibly. If you want sprinkles or food coloring, that’s an easy one. Just give us 48 hours notice, and we'll do what we can to make it happen. Unfortunately, we don't do custom flavors or fancy designs, but if you want to customize your cupcakes with edible cupcake toppers, that's an option that can be found HERE.
